Sticky Habits
Learning the Skills of Habit Creation is Easier Than Ever
You want to stick to an exercise program, eat a healthier diet, learn a new skill, or maybe write a book. You’ve tried dozens of times, but sooner or later you give up before you really get started.
So you feel undisciplined, unmotivated, and like you don’t have what it takes to succeed with your goals. You wonder if you’ll ever be able to achieve what you want to achieve.
Fortunately, by following the Sticky Habits Method and practicing for just 5 minutes a day, you can make new habits automatic in as little as 5 weeks — without giving up.
Your Instructor
Like you, I’ve struggled with healthy communication in my relationships. Hey, no one gives you a handbook when you fall in love, teaching you how to navigate the inevitable conflicts and challenges once that initial bliss begins to fade. Conflict and miscommunication can darken those rose-colored glasses and make you feel like you’re partnered with a snarky stranger.
I’ve always been intrigued by human interactions and how couples can make it work despite having personal differences and challenges that conspire to pull them apart. Some couples just know how to navigate without the hurtful words, criticisms, and misunderstandings that most of us endure in marriage or any love relationship.
My fascination led me to become a certified personal coach with a special interest in relationship communication. I’ve written several books on relationship topics (201 Relationship Questions: The Couple’s Guide to Building Trust and Emotional Intimacy, Mindful Relationship Habits: 25 Practices for Couples to Enhance Intimacy, Nurture Closeness, and Grow a Deeper Connection, and Write It Out, Don’t Fight It Out).
I’ve also written hundreds of articles on topics related to dating, love relationships, and marriage – most of which center on the importance of healthy communication. Now I've taken all I've learned through years of research, teaching, and personal experience to create an action-oriented, results-driven course that I know will change how you and your partner communicate and connect.
